Role
Primary regional seat of the Forum of Nation States (FNS) for Trizemes and the Septenez. Sister venue to Yuktobania’s Auwera facility — among Nirvali’s two premier diplomatic sites.
Neutral ground for rivals (Khaldea ↔ Yuktobania) to negotiate without local arrest.
Architecture
| Wing | Built | Character |
|---|---|---|
| Core | 1974 | Brutalist concrete — archives, Regional Secretariat, server banks |
| Glass Extension | 1998 | Curtain wall — Main Auditorium, delegate lounges (“transparency in diplomacy”) |
Climate: Temperate pine/cypress, mountain mist — unlike humid Port Vitrellan.
Access
- B-602 Hyssor Road — only land route from Remtill basin; Khaldean National Police checkpoint at mountain base (non-diplomatic traffic screened)
- Air: Rooftop helipad (core) + ridge landing zone
Interior security: FNS Protective Service only. Exterior: National Police — respectful perimeter; official “hands-off” SIGINT policy (foreign agencies still suspect monitoring).
Key people
| Role | Person | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Khaldean mission | Amb. Shavren Kholiss | Aristocratic Old Guard; Latin + Yuktobanian; high protocol |
| Regional Secretary | José Javisco (Ascoobian) | Administers neutrality inside Khaldean shadow |
Critical Security Council votes: Kholiss may step aside for House of Uzzal or Crown ministers — see Lokrens III.
Facilities
- Auditorium (Glass Wing) — circular chamber, forest views
- White Lounge — informal deals over drinks; bulletproof cantilever balcony
- Diplomatic Village — suites; many commute from Remtill hotels
Dissidents/agents on FNS soil cannot be arrested by Khaldean authorities while inside.
