The island features sloped surfaces and radar-absorbent materials in an attempt to reduce its radar signature. Propelled by 2x KNP-4 Pressurised Water Reactors, four steam turbines, and four shafts, the Kaizar Class can exceed 30 knots. The ship is outfitted with L-band 3D long-range air search radar, S-band multi-function phased array radar, secondary air search radar, an integrated EW&C suite, and a hull-mounted sonar for torpedo and underwater obstacle detection. For defence, the Kaizar Class has 3x 8-VLS cells for point-defence missiles, 4x 40mm radar guided CIWS, 8x multi-purpose decoy launchers (chaff, flares, active decoys), and 4x towed torpedo decoys.
